Coordinate is the trailhead (OpenStreetMap). Access from Kapalua Village Center or D.T. Fleming Beach; open 7am to sunset. Kapalua describes it as strenuous: carry water and food and watch the weather. Kapalua's six Village Walking Trails (easy to difficult, on the old Village golf course cart paths) start at the Village Center and are open on a temporary basis that may end without notice. No fees mentioned (Kapalua, 2026).
