Milolii Ridge Beach (Na Pali State Park)

22° 9.1′ N · 159° 43.1′ W

A remote sand beach and boat-access-only campsite at the mouth of Milolii Valley, southwest of Nualolo Kai, where a channel through the reef lets small boats land.

Practical

Coordinate: USGS GNIS 'Milolii Beach'. State Parks: a channel through the reef allows boat landings on the sand beach; day-use landings are allowed May 15 to September 7 without a permit; overnight camping requires a State Parks permit (summer only, max 3 consecutive nights); commercial drop-off or pick-up of campers is illegal. Guided kayak tours (May-September) were listed as Kayak Kauai, Na Pali Kayak and Outfitters Kauai. Land a dinghy only when shorebreak is small. No water or services; pack out everything. Status (State Parks notices, October 19, 2026): Na Pali and Polihale were closed for Hurricane Lowell from September 4, 2026; Haena State Park reopened October 15, 2026, but all Kauai camping remained closed and Kokee Road was closed until further notice - check the Park Notices page before relying on any landing or camping plan.
