Lanai Boat Fuel (Kaumalapau Wharf; none at Manele)

20° 47.1′ N · 156° 59.5′ W

Manele Small Boat Harbor has no fuel dock; the only marine diesel and gasoline on Lanai is at the Kaumalapau commercial wharf on the west coast.

Practical

DOBOR and the Manele harbor site list berths, pier, ramp, loading dock, washdown, restrooms and showers at Manele but no fuel. Coast Pilot 10: gasoline, diesel fuel and water can be obtained on the Kaumalapau wharf, a commercial barge harbor; arrange in advance (barge calls weekly on Wednesday, when the harbor is a security zone, with no admittance while a fuel barge is present). Otherwise carry gasoline in cans from Lanai City Service (1036 Lanai Ave, 6am-7:30pm per OSM) up in Lanai City, or plan to fuel at Lahaina or Maalaea on Maui, 9 to 10 nm across the Auau Channel. Manele harbor offices: DOBOR (808) 271-2595; Manele harbor site (808) 559-0723.
