Syvota Islands Anchorages (Epirus)
39° 24.3′ N · 20° 13.1′ E
Anchorages off the north end of the gap between Nisis Syvota and Agios Nikolaos, the two largest wooded Syvota islets, with clear water and pine-lined shores on both sides. Together with Middle Bay, Monastery Bay, Sand-bar Bay and End Bay (separate entries), they make up the Syvota islands cruising ground.
Practical
Moorings lists anchoring 'off the north end of the gap between Nisis Sivota and Nisis Ay Nikolaos'. mySea gives 10-15 m off Nisis Syvota (this position) and 5-10 m off Agios Nikolaos (39.40565N 20.22319E). This is deep water: carry plenty of scope or take a line ashore. Day-tripper boats pass through the gap.
