Middle Bay (Syvota)

39° 24.3′ N · 20° 14.0′ E

The sheltered inlet immediately south of Syvota village, between the mainland and the islets. Charter guides rate it one of the best anchorages in the area.

Practical

Anchor where convenient in about 5 m over mud and weed with good holding, and take a long line ashore. Or anchor out in the channel, where it is deeper but still mud and weed with generally good holding (Moorings; mySea). A second mySea 'Middle Bay' spot nearer the islets has 3-5 m (39.40644N 20.23057E). Short dinghy ride to the town quay.

Best for

A sheltered night at anchor within dinghy range of Syvota village
