Pelekas (Kontogialos) Day Anchorage

39° 35.0′ N · 19° 49.0′ E · approximate

Off Kontogialos, the beach below Pelekas village, the coast opens into a bay just south of Glyfada — anchor off for a swim, then look up to the Kaiser's Throne viewpoint on the ridge above.

Practical

Coordinate approx: about 380 m off Kontogialos (Pelekas) beach, checked to be in water against the OSM coastline. Glyfada, the next bay north, has fine sand and a shallow seabed (Greeka) and partly nudist Myrtiotissa lies beyond it (OSM 39.59555, 19.79944). The whole Pelekas–Glyfada stretch is open to the west and south-west: day stop in settled weather only, never overnight in a southerly (George Yachts). Expect jet-ski and parasail traffic off Glyfada in summer (Greeka).
