A summer festival now in its 40th season (2026), with concerts, art exhibitions, lectures, literary evenings and guided nature walks, centred on the Old School of Longos. It is a lovely excuse to stay a night in Longos.

Coordinate is approx: it uses the Longos harbour position (mySea) because the Old School building has no verified position. The 2026 season opened on Thursday 18 June with the 'Wellness' painting exhibition at the Old School of Loggos. That season's Irish Wings concert was on Sunday 5 July (paxosfestival.com). English Wikipedia says events usually run June-September in the disused Longos school and that the festival was founded by John Gough. Programmes and tickets are on paxosfestival.com.
