Old Soap Factory (Longos)
39° 13.6′ N · 20° 9.6′ E
The roofless ruin of the Anemogiannis olive-mill and soap factory, with its tall brick chimney at the end of Longos beach. It is a reminder of the oil and soap trade that sustained Paxos before tourism.
Practical
Paxos Map: the abandoned building once housed a working mill and soap factory and is now used mainly for art events. Greek Wikipedia calls the factory a landmark of the village. mySea notes that only the ruin and the high chimney remain, with a gravel beach in front.
