Anchorage· Lefkada· Greece — Ionian, Saronic & Argolic
Nikiana Harbour
38° 45.7′ N · 20° 43.2′ E
A small harbour on the Lefkada east coast between the canal and Nidri, backed by a village beach and tavernas.
Practical
Sailingissues.com lists Nikiana with the note "usually no berths" (waypoint 38 45.641 N, 20 43.270 E). my-sea warns of old mooring chains fouling the bottom about 30 m off the quay at the outer end of the mole, and lists it as exposed to N and NE. The main road runs right behind it, so it is noisy. There is an anchorage on sand, mud and weed off the beach just north (my-sea 38.76154, 20.71967). The Feast of the Savior (Metamorfosi) is held in Nikiana on August 6 (allovergreece).
