Menidi & Koprena Harbours (NE Gulf)

39° 2.4′ N · 21° 7.0′ E

Two little fishing harbours in Kopraina Bay, the NE corner of the Ambracian Gulf. They are among the least-visited stops in the Ionian region, with tavernas and a few shops in Menidi.

Practical

Menidi: berth bows-to or stern-to at the end of the mole in 1-2 m; depths vary because of rocks in front of the breakwater, and most spaces are taken by locals (mySea). Tavernas and stores in the village. A quay at 39.04317N 21.11336E takes stern-to or alongside berths. An anchorage at 39.04480N 21.09286E has sand and weed. Koprena fishing port (39.03884N 21.07658E) has a few short-stay stern-to berths in 1.5-2 m. Shallow-draught yachts only, and settled weather; sound continuously.
