Keri Lighthouse Viewpoint
37° 39.3′ N · 20° 48.5′ E
The lighthouse on the 200-metre cliffs of Cape Keri, at the south-west corner of the island, is Zakynthos's classic sunset spot, looking straight down on the Mizithres sea stacks.
Practical
The light is Fl 10s, 194 m high, range 17 nm ('Akra Kerion', OpenStreetMap). By road from Limni Keri via Keri village; park on the unpaved area by the lighthouse, then follow the path on the right for about 250 m to a natural terrace above the Mizithres (zanteisland.com). In August hundreds of people come for sunset. Keep back from the unfenced cliff edges (Wikivoyage).
Best for
Sunset over the Ionian from the island's south-west cape
