Nafplio's long sandy town beach, curving under Palamidi's southern cliffs with beach bars, tavernas and a watersports centre — the locals' summer playground.
Practical
Coordinate is the mapped beach (OSM 'Καραθώνα'). Greeka describes it as about 2 km south of the centre and 4 km long (the beach itself is shorter; the bay is long), with summer buses and a walking path from Arvanitia. Cars park on the road above.
