Arvanitia–Karathona Coastal Path
37° 33.2′ N · 22° 48.4′ E
An easygoing pine-shaded path that runs from Arvanitia around the base of Palamidi to Karathona beach, passing the little pebble cove of Neraki and a string of sport-climbing crags with constant sea views.
Practical
Coordinate is the midpoint of the mapped footway (OSM 'Αρβανιτιά - Καραθώνα'). Unpaved but easy, roughly 2–3 km one way (Greeka says Karathona is about 2 km south of the centre). Start at the end of the Arvanitia promenade. Neraki beach (OSM 37.5524, 22.8084) is a small pebble cove midway. Bring water; little shade near the end. Combine with a swim at Karathona and a bus or taxi back in summer.
Best for
Half-day walk from the quay to a long sandy beach
