Igoumenitsa is the region's big shopping town, with every major Greek supermarket chain, a street market and bakeries within walking distance of the harbour. It is the best place for a large shop between Corfu and Preveza.

Coordinate is the Masoutis supermarket at 49 Martyron 11, about 350 m from the yacht quay (OSM). Also near the port (OSM): Diellas (49 Martyron, 39.49456N 20.26312E), Economy (39.49603N 20.27412E), Enosi, Xenos and Diellas in the Elvetika district around Kyras Vasilikis (about 39.5020N 20.2665E) and a second Masoutis on 28is Oktovriou (39.51283N 20.25789E). The largest store, Sklavenitis, is about 3 km north on the Ioannina road (39.52983N 20.26569E), listed Mon-Fri 8am-9pm, Sat 8am-8pm, closed Sundays and holidays; take a taxi. Bakeries: O Fournos sto Limani by the port (39.49485N 20.26232E), Tsiavos on 49 Martyron (+30 2665 028285) and several on Kyprou. The weekly laiki street market is mapped on Sellon (39.50100N 20.26683E); ask locally which day it runs. Many shops close on Sundays.
