Corfu Old Port (Spilia) Town Quay

39° 37.6′ N · 19° 55.0′ E

The old harbour below the New Fortress, where yachts moor alongside or Med-style on the breakwater in front of the old town's northern edge. It is the most convenient spot for big provisioning runs to the market and supermarkets — but it is also busy, scruffy and wash-prone.

Practical

Coordinate from mySea (Corfu Harbour). Depths 0.5–5 m; alongside or stern-to on the breakwater. Exposed and dangerous in southerly winds (mySea); SailingIssues calls the 'new' Spilia marina unsafe in strong northerlies. Excursion boats use the quay and yachts are often asked to move to let them pass; expect ship wash, and the water can be dirty and smelly in summer (mySea). Facilities listed: water, toilets, ATM, gas bottles. Vido shuttle boats leave from the old town waterfront for the island opposite.
