Agios Nikolaos Coastguard Station (Skinari)
37° 54.4′ N · 20° 42.3′ E · approximate
Agios Nikolaos, the Kefalonia ferry port at the north tip of Zakynthos, has its own small coastguard (port police) station, the nearest authority for yachts on the north and west coasts.
Practical
Wikivoyage notes the village has a local coastguard station. Its exact position and direct phone number were not found in the sources used: the coordinate is the harbour (OpenStreetMap), not the office. It is not a port of entry: clear in or out at Zakynthos town, where the Port Authority answers 24 hours on +30 26950 28117 or 28118 and VHF channel 12 (Zakynthos Port Fund). In an emergency, call the Hellenic Coast Guard on 108 or 112.
Best for
Reporting an incident or asking about local rules at the north end of the island
