Symi Marina (Pedi)
36° 37.0′ N · 27° 51.5′ E
A small, fully serviced marina opened in September 2021 on the old north mole of Pedi Bay, 3.5 km from Gialos. It has laid moorings, power and water: a calmer alternative to the Gialos scrum.
Practical
Sailing Issues: opened 18 September 2021; VHF 71; 50+ berths and mooring balls; the lazy lines run to mooring blocks in 20 m depth about 80 m out. mySea: 50 berths up to 40 m LOA (another figure on the page says draft to 8 m and length to 30 m), shore power 220–380 V 63 A and water pillars, free Wi-Fi, showers and toilets, 24/7 CCTV and security. A grocery, petrol station, tavernas and beaches are within walking distance. Ferries twice daily, plus taxi boats and a bus to Gialos. Strong south-easterlies (only November–May) can make the mole unmanageable; leave and anchor in the south of the bay. Prices on application; book via mySea or the marina.
