Mytilene Chandlery, Boatyard & Marine Services

39° 5.8′ N · 26° 33.5′ E

The island's only real cluster of yacht services is around the Setur marina: a small chandlery, a boatyard area beside the basin, divers and lift-and-launch, plus engine and electrical contractors in town.

Practical

Coordinate is the boatyard ('marine service') area mapped in OpenStreetMap beside the marina. Setur lists yacht-supply sales points, lift and launch operations, diver service and bottom washing; it gives no travel-lift capacity, so ask before planning a haul-out. Noonsite reports (2016 and 2020) praise the small Nautilus chandlery at the marina run by Stratos Blanis — helpful with parts, will hold mail, and refills Campingaz (contact details in those reports; verify current). Tsouros Marine, a fishing/marine shop, is in town at 39.10162, 26.55524 (OpenStreetMap). One guide notes that lift-out and yard facilities are limited to smaller vessels and complex work is sent to the mainland. Marine diesel at Mytilene is typically delivered by road tanker to the quay — arrange through the marina.
