Lalaria anchorage (Skiathos north coast)

39° 12.5′ N · 23° 28.8′ E · approximate

The lunch anchorage off Skiathos' famous white-pebble beach and its Trypia Petra rock arch, reachable only by sea.

Practical

Approximate position about 150 m off the beach, derived from the OpenStreetMap coastline (beach at 39.20655, 23.47879). Rocky bottom with boulders — trip line and minimal chain; light winds only, strong northerlies make anchoring impossible (Sailing Issues). The beach is not organised and taking pebbles is strictly prohibited; tripper boats run from Skiathos only when the sea is completely calm (skiathos.gr). Go early to beat the excursion boats (Dream Yacht).

Best for

Boat-only beach on a calm or southerly day

Season
