Karlovasi Fuel, Water & Power (Samos)
37° 47.7′ N · 26° 40.9′ E · approximate
Karlovasi is the fuel-and-water stop on Samos' northwest coast, the last before crossing to Evdilos or rounding the wild Seitani coast.
Practical
my-sea lists a fuel station, water and electricity at Karlovasi harbour; CruisersWiki (validated 2016) says fuel comes by mini-tanker and water and power are on the quay, with at least one working pedestal (the westernmost on the south quay). Arrange the tanker through the port police (VHF 12) or ask locally - there is no listed pump on the quay. Take care entering: my-sea warns of dredging and construction work at the entrance, and the new basin is full of local boats. Position is the south quay (approx, derived from the Karlovasi Harbour entry).
