Imporeios Bay (Alimia)

Alimia's east-facing bay, the second of its two ancient harbours, with stunning views across to Rhodes. Sheltered from the meltemi.
Practical
Sailing Issues: sheltered in all but easterlies; meltemi-proof. Roman-era tombs, ancient walls and the foundations of an early Christian basilica lie between Pelegrinas and Imporeios. Take a line ashore if you can.
