Anchorage· Halki· Greece — Dodecanese, Sporades & North Aegean

Ftenagia Bay (Halki)

36° 13.0′ N · 27° 37.0′ E

A pebble beach and tavernas just south of the harbour. It is popular with megayachts, though exposed.

Practical

Sailing Issues: megayachts favour this exposed anchorage. Grecosailor warns: sheltered but not suitable for anchoring, with rocks from 6 m down; an anchor caught on a rock tip. Use a trip line or stay deep if you try it. Greeka: Halki's second most popular beach after Pondamos, white pebbles, sunbeds and a couple of tavernas, reachable on foot from the village.
