Daskalio Cave (Vathi)
36° 58.5′ N · 27° 1.8′ E
A cave on the Vathi inlet that held Neolithic tools and Late Minoan-age pottery, showing it was used for both living and worship. Its single chamber is about 25 x 12 m.
Practical
The municipality calls it relatively inaccessible, reached by descending carved steps. CruisersWiki says it can only be reached by boat, so go by dinghy from the Vathi anchorage in calm conditions. Bring a torch. Coordinate from the municipal site's map pin.
