An open bay just south of Cape Drapano, Ikaria's easternmost point, with nice sand and an ancient tower on the headland.
Practical
Partial protection from the meltemi. The cove is steep and very deep, then shoals very quickly - set the anchor carefully. In calm weather you can climb (with difficulty) to the ancient tower. A cargo-ship wreck lies off Ikaria's NE tip at 14-21 m (dive with a local operator).
