Pisses Beach (Kea)

37° 36.0′ N · 24° 16.6′ E

A long, very clean sand beach at the mouth of a green valley of fruit and cypress trees on Kea's west coast, with tavernas and sunbeds at one end.

Practical

Greeka lists it as partly organized and fairly popular in summer. Greektravel calls the water excellent for snorkelling and the beach full of children in summer. It is open to all westerlies, so swim from the anchorage only in settled or easterly weather. Position from OpenStreetMap.

Best for

Swim and shore lunch on the west coast
