36° 52.8′ N · 25° 54.9′ E
The south shore of Nikouria, the largest of Amorgos's satellite islets, where clear water is deep right to the rocks and a sandy beach is served by a transfer boat from Agios Pavlos.
Practical
Grecosailor skipper report: sand and rocks, deep right up to the rocks so you can come close and tie off; a stern line is essential; good from northerlies but a bit rolly. amorgos.gr: Nikouria beach is sandy and reached by transfer boat. Just outside Agios Pavlos beach is a dive site with an underwater cave of colourful sponges and fish (amorgos.gr diving). Nikouria was an Early Cycladic cemetery site that yielded figurines (Wikipedia).
