Naxos is a Greek port of entry, and the Port Police (Limenarchio, the Hellenic Coast Guard) and Customs both have offices here. This is where you deal with transit-log or DEKPA checks and where you pay harbour dues when no marina staff are on duty.

Practical

Port Authority of Naxos: tel +30 22850 22300, fax +30 22850 24549. Customs House of Naxos: +30 22850 24430. Port VHF channel 12 (sailingissues). The same office is responsible for every port on Naxos and the Small Cyclades, including Agia Anna, Apollonas, Moutsouna, Kalantos, Koufonisia and Keros (GTP port listings). Noonsite: out of season, fees are paid at the Port Police office. Cruisers describe the port police as very helpful (sailingissues). Bring the boat papers, crew list, skipper's licence and insurance. Office hours were not found, so call ahead. Emergency: 112. The position is the mySea 'port of entry' point for Naxos harbour, not the office door; the exact office location was not verified.
