Naxos Ferry Terminal & KTEL Bus Station

37° 6.5′ N · 25° 22.5′ E

The ferry quay and the island bus station are next to each other at the root of the harbour mole. This is where crew arrive and leave, and where buses go to the beaches and mountain villages.

Practical

KTEL Naxos buses (naxosbuses.com) leave from the station by the port to the beaches and the inland villages: Halki, Filoti, Apiranthos, Apollonas and others. Noonsite: the tourist office is in front of the ferry dock. There are ferries to Piraeus, Rhodes, Heraklion, Paros and the other Cyclades, including the Small Cyclades Lines service to Koufonisia. Taxis: +30 22850 22444 / 24331 (GTP). Car, motorbike and scooter hire is plentiful. Ferry wash affects the marina and the Vintzi anchorage whenever a ship docks.

Best for

Crew changes and inland day trips without a car
