Maltezi Beach Anchorage (Katapola)

A sandy beach in the outer, western part of Katapola bay, below the chapel of Agios Panteleimon, where you can anchor away from the ferry wash.
Practical
Sailingissues: anchor here in northerlies (west of Panteleimonas church). In southerlies move to the area between the port and the Panagia church (about 36.8294N 25.8607E). amorgos.gr: sandy beach reached on foot or by transfer boat from Katapola. Stay well clear of the ferry turning area.
