Katapola North Pier (Xylokeratidi)

A pier completed in 2023 on the Xylokeratidi (north) side of Katapola bay, with about nine yacht berths. Sailingissues calls it ideal in the meltemi because the wind blows boats off the wall.

Position is approx: placed off the Xylokeratidi waterfront from the sailingissues description and OSM, and checked as water against the OSM coastline. About 9 berths (fewer for multihulls). Book through Ahmed, who also manages the southern ferry quay: WhatsApp +30 22850 71285 or +30 697 949 4928. No lazy lines: drop anchor in 8-10 m with at least 50 m of chain; 4-5 m close to the wall. Electricity and a trickle of water from 2 shared shore pillars. Example fee from sailingissues: EUR 10/night for a 40 ft monohull, first night double, often including power (year not stated, so verify locally). The diesel truck cannot reach this pier. The Blue Star ferry arrives about three times a week in season, and the coast guard may move you if large vessels need to anchor near Xylokeratidi or if it wants the pier for its own boat (fenders provided).
