Malta Beach (Sikinos)

A pebble cove with very clear water and a rocky setting on Sikinos's north-east shore. It is reached by caique, or by a dirt road and a 2.5 km hike.

Position from Grecosailor (36°42'30.1"N 25°10'40.5"E). Sand with poor holding in most conditions, so it is only a quick swim stop unless it is very calm; the Grecosailor crew moved on to Kolitsani on Ios, about 5 nm away. sikinos.gr: about 3.7 km from Chora by car and then 2.5 km on foot. Not recommended for families or anyone with mobility problems. No services. North-east-facing, so avoid it in the meltemi. The hiking route from Kastro via the monastery, Profitis Ilias and Agia Triada ends here (6.2 km, 2 hours 20 minutes).
