Alopronia–Chora Old Path (Sikinos)

The old stone path between the harbour at Alopronia and the Kastro in Chora, past the chapels of Agios Vlasis and Bounamas: the classic way to walk up from the boat.
Practical
Position approx: the lower end of the climb on the Alopronia-Chora road, taken from the Sikinagora OSM node; the path itself was not traced. sikinos.gr route: Kastro - Agios Vlasis - Bounamas - Pyrgari - Alopronia, 3.8 km, about 50 minutes. The road distance is about 3 km and the bus runs it, so many crews walk up in the cool of the evening and ride down, or the reverse. Climbs to Chora's ridge, so it is steep and unshaded.
