Kalo Livadi Bay (Mykonos)

37° 25.9′ N · 25° 24.4′ E

A long, gentle bay of turquoise water and sand between Elia and Kalafatis. Shallow and family-friendly, it's 2 km below Ano Mera village.

Practical

Sailingissues calls it a gentler anchorage. Watch for a low islet and reefs on the southern approach. Sandy seabed (Aegean Islands guide). Sailingissues warns that C-Map and the Greek Waters Pilot plot Agia Anna, Kalo Livadi and Elia in the wrong positions; Eagleray, OpenSeaMap and Garmin are correct. OpenSeaMap also marks an anchorage at 37.432, 25.40686. Organised beach with tavernas (Greeka). Walk or taxi up to Ano Mera for provisions and the Tourliani monastery.

Best for

Quiet family anchorage with a walk to Ano Mera
