Ftelia Bay Windsurf (Mykonos)

The deep north-facing bay that funnels the meltemi straight onto a long sand beach. It's the island's windsurf and wing spot, with a Neolithic settlement on the headland.

Best on meltemi afternoons Jun-Sep, when it's too windy for swimming and often dusty (Wikivoyage). Beach bar at the edge (Greeka). The nearby Early Cycladic/Neolithic site is said to be the tomb of Ajax the Lesser. No bus; road from Ano Mera. Not an anchorage in a northerly. Coordinates from Wikidata/Greeka.
