A secluded sand cove between Platis Gialos and Vathy, ringed by rock and a reef on its far shore: the best known snorkel stop on the south coast.
Practical
SailingIssues: 'Stunning surroundings & snorkelling'. A reef lies on the shore opposite the Agios Georgios chapel; SailingIssues says the Greek Waters Pilot chart is wrong here (Eagleray, Garmin, C-Map correct), so snorkel it before moving the boat. Little swinging room, so lie with a line ashore (see Fikiada Cove). Only reachable by trail or boat, so it stays quiet. Coordinate is approximate: placed in the cove near the mySea anchorage position (36.90696 N, 24.70379 E).
