The quieter bay on the east side of the Kolona sandbar, with crystal-clear water and rocky edges that make for an easy snorkel from the anchored boat.

Kythnos.gr recommends Fikiada for swimming in its crystal-clear water; the bottom is sand and seaweed with rocks and reefs around the edges (kythnos.net). Greeka says it is less busy than Kolona. The coordinate is approximate: the centre of the OpenStreetMap Ormos Fikiada bay feature; snorkel along the rocky north and south shores.
