Faragas East Cove Anchorage (Paros)

36° 58.8′ N · 25° 10.0′ E

A small, quiet cove just east of Faragas beach, marked by a distinctive rock formation at its entrance and rated by Sailingissues the best of the three Faragas bays.

Practical

Exposed only to SE through SW, so a good meltemi hideout on the south coast. Swinging room is limited, so take a line to the beach. Solid holding (Sailingissues). mySea's nearby 'Pigadakia' entry logs sand with good holding and underwater rocks about 220 m away. The west bay is open SE to W and Sailingissues calls it the least interesting. Position from the Sailingissues marker.

Best for

Quiet overnight on the south coast in a northerly

Season
