koufonisia.gr: sheltered from N and W winds, about 1,400 m from the village and 300 m from Charokopou beach; the Fanos café-restaurant is on the beach. George Yachts lists Fanos as a sand anchorage in the lee of the meltemi. OSM marks an anchorage just off it (36.9355N 25.6183E).
