Agios Ioannis Snorkel (Mykonos)
37° 25.3′ N · 25° 18.7′ E
A small west-coast beach looking straight across the channel to Delos and Rineia, with clear water that guides single out for swimming and snorkelling, and a sunset view.
Practical
Wikivoyage calls it 'a small beach with snorkeling opportunities'. Greeka describes soft sand and crystalline water ideal for snorkelling, with no watersport facilities. From the Agios Ioannis anchorage, land the dinghy outside the swimmer buoys and snorkel along the rocky sides. Next door, the unorganised Kapari cove has calm, clear water (Greeka). Exposed to the W and SW, so best in the usual N meltemi. Bus to Chora. Position is the OSM beach.
