Agios Dimitrios Cove (Milos Bay)

36° 43.7′ N · 24° 23.6′ E

A remote cove on the western arm of Milos Bay, just inside the entrance, with a beach reachable only by boat and very clear water.

Practical

Sailing Issues: remote, shallow, clear water, 'not as deep as the charts show', and exposed to winds from N to SSE. Use it in westerlies, when Adamas is uncomfortable. Greeka: secluded sandy beach accessible only by boat. Sound in carefully; there are rocks off the Kalamarokavos headland to the north.

Best for

Clear-water solitude inside the bay in westerly weather

Season

Settled weather or westerlies; exposed N–SSE
