36° 41.4′ N · 24° 27.0′ E
One of the longest beaches on Milos, a curve of sand at the head of Milos Bay beside a small lake that gives it its name. In the meltemi it is the island's windsurf and kitesurf beach.
Practical
Greeka: part of the beach has a taverna, beach bar, umbrellas and sunbeds; the other side has trees and no facilities; parking nearby; the section nearer Adamas is quieter; the small lake is 'the only one on Milos'. Wind and chop can be strong in northerlies.
Best for
Kitesurfing and a long beach walk
