The anchorage off Milos's longest beach, at the southern head of Milos Bay near the airport.
Practical
Sailing Issues: useful in southerly winds, but sand over rock may hold poorly, so dig in well and check. Open to the north across the whole bay, so in a meltemi it gets a long fetch and windsurf-grade chop; move to Adamas. Beach bars and a taverna ashore.
