Infirmerie de Haamene (Town Hall)

A public nurse's clinic in the seaward side of the Haamene town hall, a short walk from the Haamene Bay moorings. It is the government health post for the south and east of the island.
Practical
Run by the Subdivision Santé des Îles Sous-le-Vent (DSP). Phone 40 65 67 51. Open Tuesday 7:30am to 12pm only (DSP directory; verify locally). Position is the Mairie de Haamene from the map link in the DSP directory. On other days use the Centre médical de Patio (40 65 63 31; Monday to Thursday 7:30am to 3:30pm, Friday 7:30am to 2:30pm), or the private doctor, dentist and pharmacy mapped next to the town hall. Hospital: Uturoa, Raiatea (40 60 08 00). Emergencies: 15 (ambulance), 16 or VHF 16 (sea rescue, JRCC Tahiti).
