Rapa Iti Supply Ship Calls (Tuhaa Pae IV)

27° 37.0′ S · 144° 19.9′ W

The Tuhaa Pae IV is Rapa's lifeline: with no airport, the ship brings all food, fuel and gas, and it berths at the main dock where yachts otherwise lie alongside.

Practical

Coordinate is the Rapa ferry stop at the Ha'urei main dock (OSM). SNATHP's published schedule (viewed Oct 2026) shows Rapa calls on Sunday 25 Oct 2026 (arrive 6 am, depart 4 pm, from and back to Tubuai) and Saturday 7 Nov 2026 (arrive 6 am from Raivavae, depart 4 pm for Tubuai), with no Rapa call on the two following voyages: roughly monthly, matching Pitufa's 'once a month (sometimes it skips a visit)'. If you are alongside the main dock, move off before the ship is due. Check the live calendar at tapao.snathp.com. Crew can also join or leave via the ship, the only public link off the island.
