A small public beach on the lagoon side of the road at kilometre 9 from the village, where Fakarava families gather for weekend barbecues and petanque.
Practical
Dinghy landing from the Pufana anchorage opposite. Weekend barbecue spot for locals, with a petanque court and a marae. You can walk across to the reef side, and the road leads back to the village. Leave nothing behind, and no fires without permission.
