A sandy patch west of the gap between Mekiro and Akamaru, with a shorter dinghy ride to the village. It suits days with little southerly swell.

Coordinate from Pitufa: sandy patch in less than 10 m. Use only on days with little southerly swell (under 1.5 m per meteo.pf). Pitufa also lists a W-side spot at 23 deg 11.228'S 134 deg 55.522'W with room for 3-4 boats, with a bommie at 23 deg 11.20'S 134 deg 55.51'W. Sugar Shack used 23 deg 10.693'S 134 deg 55.453'W in 3 m and 23 deg 11.904'S 134 deg 55.495'W in 3.5 m of sand off the SW tip (Dec 2020), with slight swell wrapping through the gap. Float the chain around coral heads.
