Akamaru Eastern Beach Walk

23° 10.8′ S · 134° 54.5′ W · approximate

From a beach on Akamaru's east side, a trail climbs straight to a windy ridge and follows it about an hour to a big rock face with views over the lagoon.

Practical

approx: the pin is Akamaru's east side. The beach is visible from the anchorage, with a small shack and outhouse just inland. No published position. Allow about 1 hour each way to the rock face. Pitufa notes the Akamaru ridge has no shade, so bring a hat and water.
