14° 27.6′ S · 146° 3.5′ W · approximate

Five small general stores in Manihi's village (2024) for basics, frozen goods and drinks; fresh produce depends on the supply ships.

Practical

Positioned at 'Libre service Jean-Marie', one of the village stores mapped on OpenStreetMap; another general store and a 'shop' are mapped within 150 m along the main street toward the pass (approximate for the group). The July 2024 atoll sheet lists 5 shops, 1 snack-bar, 2 snacks and 1 bakery; Tahiti Tourisme notes there are no restaurants or bars as such, so visitors eat at pensions. A 2026 Manihi Lodge listing describes the village as having stores, a bakery-snack bar, a card terminal (TPE), an infirmary and a marina for swimming. Supply ships Dory (about 50 calls a year), Mareva Nui and others. Drinking water from the commune's fountains (mairie, canteen, school) at 6 XPF per litre (2024 sheet).
