One health auxiliary, tel/fax 40 985 288 (2021). For a doctor, go to Rotoava, Fakarava; serious cases are evacuated by air to Papeete. The village also has an 'abri-école' cyclone shelter with a treatment room (29 m²) for up to 362 people. In an emergency call on VHF 16.
