ACI Marina Dubrovnik (Komolac)

42° 40.2′ N · 18° 7.5′ E

The main yacht marina for Dubrovnik, about 2 nm up the Rijeka Dubrovačka inlet at Komolac, well away from the swell and the cruise-ship traffic of the city. It is the usual start and end point for charter fleets in the south, and it is green, quiet and well sheltered.

Practical

Coordinate is the marina basin (OSM marina polygon). Sources give about 380–425 wet berths plus a dry yard of about 140 places; depths reported from about 2.5 m to 5 m+ inside, so ask for a berth to suit your draft. Med-moor on laid lines. VHF 17 for the marina; Dubrovnik harbourmaster on VHF 10/16. Facilities: reception, restaurant and bar, pool, tennis, showers, laundry, a well-stocked supermarket, chandlery, repair shop and a 60-ton travel lift. Fuel dock (INA) at the marina, see 'INA Fuel Dock, Komolac'. The Old Town is about 6 km away: local buses run to Gruž and the Pile Gate, or take a taxi. Approach from Gruž passes under the Franjo Tuđman road bridge across the inlet; check its air clearance on your chart if you have a very tall rig. Calm water in almost all winds; bura can gust down the valley.
